  • Dude, that’s sweet! Your hard work is appreciated for sure.

Would it be easy to also organize by tags? That’s a view I use in Drambo a lot, and on a site like this tags could also expand to link more granular concepts, eg #gate or #delay etc. Just a thought.

And yeah a section linking into patch storage would be dope.

  • @offbrands this is awesome. I can’t wait to check it out. As someone who has been really trying to learn the basics of Drambo, I’m not sure I’ll be able to provide much feedback, but this is really cool and appreciated.

  • Drambo Wiki haha! Rad idea, I’m sure this will be super helpful to so many people. Drambo seems to be perpetually “being learned”.

  • Huh! Somehow missed the tag view. Nice.

  • @offbrands this is fantastic! Great work! @giku_beepstreet needs to see this for sure!

  • Tremendous! The work you put into this is greatly appreciated.. I think I only use about 1% of Drambo’s capabilities.. when I decide to dive deeper, this’ll be a much used resource.. thank you kindly..

  • great idea!
it would be nice to have a link to an example patch for every single module, like it is in max/msp or pd.
the whole garden thing should live inside drambo itself as the help system:)

  • in max/msp, you can rightclick any object say the *~ object for example which is multiplication of signals.
then choose "help" from the context menu and the help patch named *~help.mxp opens.

those help- patches are real working max-patches and in most cases are an essential and inspiring source for learning. and you can of course copy/paste into the patch you're working on.
    the same with pd.

maybe drambo could include similar help patches? i think of all the math objects for example...

New Release on Drambo effectively puts the help documents into the app in a much smoother way than I could ever hope to make on a separate website.

Happy to see it, a much better solution than it was previously.

I'Il upload the documents I created to Github for anyone who might want to download some markdown text for their own documents if enough people are interested. They would be perfect for someone’s Obsidian vault for instance.

But there isn’t a point for me to pay for hosting now that a far better user experience exists in the app.

    Cheers 🤘🏽🙏🏽

Jeez this new online help is great..I didn’t know, thanks

I appreciate the work that was put into all of this. Thank you. I hope you don’t feel it was for nothing. Who knows, maybe the attention you brought to this inspired the new Drambo helper.
