The mixer has channel strips for colors in use. Assign a new color to clip and the color will appear in the mixer.
Yea, thats what I do, but to assign a color, I need to press the plus-button to creat a accidental new color, then assign this, then at least I can change it to the desired color.
This is OK, but I was just wondering if I miss the "add color" near the "add midi", "add buss" etc.
Colors aren’t added that way. They are added by either choosing + in the color assignment popup you noted or in color mode (the paint bucket icon). You can change the color used for a mixer channel by tapping the color in the mixer and tapping the color in the color info panel
