Untitled Auxy Album

This is my first album since Summer of 2024 and my second album in total! My first album was a 10-track album produced on an Android tablet in FL Studio Mobile. This time, I created this album on an iPad Mini entirely in Auxy Studio and mastered the tracks in Cubasis 3.

There's definitely a variety of tracks on here, from Trance, HipHop, Orchestral, 80s, Reggae, and even Ecuadorian Flute music on top of a Reggaeton beat!

You can listen to the album start to finish, or listen in parts, or skim through it to get the gist of it. You don't need to actively listen to the album. You can pop it on in the background while paying bills, videogaming, or whatever.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this endeavor I did in @lenberg 's app. Auxy Studio is truly a remarkable app and one of the rare ones I don't mind subscribing to. Especially due to the variety of music genres I can squeeze out of it! In short, definitely good bang for your monthly six bucks (or cheaper per month if you choose an annual subscription).

When I exported the tracks, I turned Auxy's gain down and disabled the "Master Effects". This way I could take the unmastered tracks and master them my way in Cubasis 3. I mastered the tracks to roughly -8LuFS this time, because I wanted to have a "wall of sound" effect this time.

I used the Bark Filter's Tripleband Preset (definitely my most-used @VirSyn plugin) followed by Cubasis' Brickwall Limiter set to -1dB to catch any peaks. And of course Youlean's Loudness Meter to ensure all tracks were set to the desired loudness.

Anyways, cheers and enjoy.

  • Giving this a bump in case anyone has time to waste. 🤣

  • Dipped in and out Jim, my preference is for the quieter pieces so Feelin the Love and A new dawn breaks were my favourites.
Impressive that it was all done with one app ✌️

Thank you so kindly, my friend. :) I appreciate it. Yep, Auxy Studio is an excellent versatile app that's easy to use both on iPad and iPhone. Not a difficult-to-see interface in the least. Has its limitations - one of which is not being able to dip below 60 bpm, the other being only "major, minor, and harmonic minor" scales are available. I do hope @lenberg considers at least expanding the scale selection in the future, but as it stands, Auxy Studio is a f-ing great app!

The past month since I subscribed to it, I got a ton of mileage out of it.

For the record, my favourite was "Inside Your Warm Embrace". I also love "Feelin the Love" and "A New Dawn Breaks" as well as all of the tracks on the album. I think you'll love "Dronish" and "Pianissimo" which are two more recent track releases.

I think I've given up the idea of making another album/EP and will just stick to releasing music one-at-a-time. :)

Carved out some time, ate some edibles, and sat down with this. I can see why your favorite is Inside Your Warm Embrace. It’s prolly the most polished of the tracks imo, very well put together, and the sax kicks fuckin ass haha. I still lean towards Take a Break. It’s obvious that you’re most comfy in dance/edm territory, which I can’t say is my cup of tea, but the reggae nature of that track jives the best with me, that trance one prolly the least so hehe. Diff strokes diff folks! Fresh Air was a head nodded for sure, and the cornbread (I make my own eddies) kicked in during the reggaeton song and gave got me all giddy, props for trying out all different kinds of genres. If I had to title it, I’d reference those UK breakfasts that have all kindsa food on it. “Breakfast Plate”, “Fry Up”, “Full Breakfast”. I’d also argue this album is lively and energetic, perfect for getting your day going. Ok nuff rambling, was a great listen, thanks for Sharon 🤙

Thanks for your wonderful, detailed feedback. :) I'm definitely most comfortable with EDM. It's how I cut my teeth as a producer. Only the past handful of years did I start to branch out into exploring other genres. :)
