Delete unused audio clip from a project

How do you Delete unused audio clips from a project ?
Manual states in template chapter

TIP! When saving a project to be used as a template, delete any unnecessary audio clips.

But how to do this ?

    Swipe down on the clip and select Clear to remove the audio while keeping the clip in place. Or, if you don't want the clip in the template at all, go to edit mode with the pencil icon, long-press on the clip and select delete.

    If you want to remove all audio, press and hold the clear clips button in the bottom toolbar.

    You can tap on the clear button and tap on clips you want to clear if there are clips whose audio you want to retain.

    Thanks Wim, I thought Clear was only removing the link between clip and actual audio file but keeping the audio file in the project.
    I was wondering about the growing size of some projects were I cleared multiple audio clips, I now understand that I should Clear save states to have a project size corresponding to the clips in use
