The greatest! I was lucky to meet him once, very kind and humble. And I’ve worked with a lot of people who worked with him pretty regularly, so many great stories.
I saw him live quite a number of times and it was always amazing. One of my favorites was the Michel Camilo big band at SOB’s. Same band as in this video, an absolute A list of NYC musicians.
