How to records screen + audio coming via USB ?
Am I missing something or is this not possible ?
I have connected audio interface to iPhone.. audio comes into iPhone .. i can record it in apps lile Audioshare, AUM, etc.. simple
But now - i want to record screen capture which INCLUDES that sound (i am too lazy to merge and sync them manually later)
Or it this really not possible ?? Does iOS screen recording capture audio only when device is not connected to any external sound decice via usb ??

Comments
Use an app that is monitoring the incoming sound when you screen record.
doesn’t work
i will be more specific .. i connected Dirtywave M8 to iphone.. sound of M8 and all soudns generated by iPhone goes out of M8 audio output .. M8 internal playback can be recorded on iPhone via audioshare, but even if i enable monitoring in audio share and then start screen recording - video is wirhout sound (vomoletely quiet), audioshare records audio correctly
weird
i think i understand what is happening here .. internal M8 engine sound goes into iPhone .. when i enable monotoring, iPhone sends it back to M8 but by default M8 doesn’t play what comes USB in .. when on M8 i enable play-thru for USB in, it basixall mix incoming audio from iphone into iťs own internal audio and sends it back to iPhone - so feedback loop happens in that case
Looks like in this specific configuration it is not possible to record M8 audio onto iPhone audio recording without getting feedback loop
I had feedback too when I recorded the Seqtrak into an iPad. Try to record with the output of your phone routed to a Bus without connection. I did that in AUM, but should theoretically work in any DAW.
Create audio track, record input select Seqtrak channels 1+2, output to Bus 1 (which is connected to nowhere). Records fine, and audio can be heard through the Seqtrak.
interesting idea, will try it !
