ToneX 1.2.5 AUv3 .. can you load a new model from Tone.NET?
Could you please check if you can load any of new (not downloaded) models after login to Tone.NET?
I always receive "Something went wrong!" message in Loopy Pro and ApeMatrix as well.
I can load the same models in standalone ToneX app without any issues.

Same thing here.
Did not find a solution either.

Thanks @flo. I created a thread about this on the IKM forum and will wait a few days for a response. If no solution is found, I will create a support ticket.
Hope they Will find a solution.
Thanks.
Flo
I’ve been able to get new models from ToneNet in the standalone app. I don’t use Tonex inside other apps, maybe that’s the issue.
Edit: sorry didn’t read the initial post
I'm not sure if this was ever possible. You can download models using the stand-alone app. Then you can use the model in the AUv3, so it's not really a problem. AUv3s are extensions and I don't believe they are supposed to access the internet.
I'm 100% sure it was possible, @uncledave.
OK, nobody answered on the IKM forum so I created a support ticket.
It was possible to do this in auv3 before the update. I get the same error message as the OP now.
I am able to add a capture from tonenet in stand-alone, however I’ve never been able to any output from stand-alone, even before the update.
I don’t have a lot of faith in getting an update fix in a timely from IK. How long was it before this current update? It’s too bad because Tonex iOS sounds great - it’s pretty much the only auv3 I use for amp modeling.
I suggest filing a support ticket. The more people they hear from the more likely it is to be addressed.
I will.
I’ll also toss out there that I haven’t had good luck with IK support on other issues in the past.
I have had amazing customer service support

I bought a used ToneX One pedal off Reverb and didn't have the software card. Reached out to IK multimedia customer support and these guys went above and beyond my expectations. They gave me the Free ToneX SE software which actually also activated ToneX SE on IOS, plus, I didn't expect anything more, they sent me a Free Code to get the ODS Legends pack which was $100 worth! Simply amazing
Not sure if the economic situation is affecting their staffing but perhaps it is.
I haven't used my iPhone with ToneX in live situations since I got the ToneX One pedal which I used to create a mini pedalboard.
I think the issue with loading as an AU used to work but I don't recall since I always had my presets already loaded in the app and just selected new ones from my downloaded ones.
That’s good to hear a positive take on support from them. I’ll spare you the details, but I’ll just say I’ve had two not-so-good turns with IK support, one of which required me contacting a rep for them on the gear page who did get things resolved.
I generally like IK’s stuff, but the lagging behind on iOS is very unfortunate. I would think iOS would be a premiere platform for their products.
Unfortunately, iOS music apps generate less revenue than software for desktop OS’s for most developers
Yeah, I can see that. IK does have quite a few I-interfaces they sell, I would hope they supported the software those devices rely on.
Very true.
I always tell these companies that millions upon millions of future customers (kids) are on IOS and their future business starts with investing in them. Those who heed to this idea will reap the rewards.
But, some near sighted companies fail to see this and perhaps due to staffing or funding issues but there has to be a balance.
I had a great customer support experience over the same issue actually. I bought ToneX One and it was missing the activation cards for Amplitube and ToneX. I emailed support with my receipt and within two exchanges it was all sorted out. Resolved within 24 hours hassle free so I’d say that’s a win.
For those that don’t know, support staffs are almost always understaffed. Oftentimes it’ll take a little perseverance and redundant follow-up that would not be necessary in an ideal world.
I’ve had good luck with iK but it has sometimes required some extra follow-up.
I’m having the same issue. It’s been like this for a few weeks. Did anyone here create a support ticket and get a response?
I created ticket but no response from IKM yet.
