Teenage Engineering EP-40 Riddim Supertone & EP-2350 Ting: reggae-inspired groovebox and FX mic
When I saw the headline I thought this sounded completely naff, but watching the vids on their website, it actually looks like a bit of fun:

Looks like fun, and comes with a "lo-fi" microphone, but in the end is it worth $329? 🫠 Who's to say?

Damnedest thing is, I used the forum search to look it up, and DuckDuckGo didn't list yours.
No worries - I quite often feel my posts and replies have an additional element of invisibility
I found the video. ❤️
Dang. Well, I'll request @wim to lock my thread so yours is replied to. 🙏
I’m torn on this one. Looks super fun, but at the price point I could also just get another pad and fill it with dub stuff, prolly wind up with something similar with potentially more features. I’ve also never owned any TE products and opinions on it/them are alllll over the place haha
I once had an OP-1 Field. It was an amazing piece of kit. Unfortunately I had to sell it to make ends meet.
But yeah, my opinion about the EP-420 here (haha) is I have an 1TB iPhone loaded with all the sample packs I've acquired over the years (including all of Samples from Mars' drums), and Koala Sampler. I'm certain I'll be alright with what I have. ❤️
@jwmmakerofmusic : Not to mention all the FL Studio Mobile drum sounds you’ve got . Don’t forget it’s been awhile since they’ve updated. Expecting something soon along w Cubasis update that’s due
Where those bass sounds came from
Oh trust me, I believe there'll be more epic updates for FLSM in the future. And yeah, Image-Line have really done a lot of great work with FLSM already. I have all the IAPs to date.
I merged them and temporarily disengaged cloaking of @oldsynthguy posts. 😉
How close could we get on iOS? Audio Damage Ratshack for the mic, Audiothing’s Outer Space and Dub filter for those squelchy King Tubby delay’s, perhaps Drambo for a Dub Siren and some nice drumkits, all of that managed in Loopy Pro
Lol. Thanks kindly.
Reading this, I just realised Koala Sampler has a Dub pack with a dub siren inside of it.
So yeah, unless you are a TE collector, I'd recommend Koala Sampler over EP-420, lol.
