iPadOS 26 & External Monitors

I only just had a chance to test out an external monitor with the new OS and joy oh joy we have full screen! Loaded up Logic and it filled the screen of my external monitor and it finally felt that I could have a semi-desktop experience when I wanted or needed. The good times rolled off somewhat when I foolishly thought I could then drag Logic windows across to the iPad, such as the mixer. Maybe this will come with an update. Then my hopes dropped a little more after opening Cubasis. Still in 4:3 on the external monitor.

What’s everyone’s experience with external monitors and the new OS? Digging the update quite a lot regardless.

    @LFS you're the best! Can’t wait! Fingers crossed that we can have floating windows for things like the mixer or plugins etc. this would trump Logic’s implementation.

    I hadn't realized this was a thing, but it would be great to have a larger view of many things. That said, I'm not sure how much I would enjoy it without the secondary monitor also being touch screen (and likely cost-prohibitive) for better interaction with small controls on several apps. I certainly wouldn't want a mouse and keyboard, lol ... ah god, the thought alone kills whatever is left inside ...
