Future Man (evolving ambient soundscape)
This is something that uses apps that all have “scaper” in the title. GuitarScaper, PianoScaper, MoodScaper, TouchScaper, and SynthScaper. The first three are all autopilot and provide a drone background. Touchscaper required me to touch the screen. I used Piano Motifs to control six instances of SynthScaper. I added a few bits of Pure Piano and Riffler, as well as some effects loops from Launchpad and Blocs Wave. It’s a strange piece that has a few moments. When I was younger, I liked listening to stuff like this when I got high. Now I’m just old and in the way. I hope you enjoy.
My wife and I went to see Nuremberg yesterday. I thought it was a pretty good movie considering the subject. We got a senior discount! I would be interested in what any others thought of it.

Hi Fernando. This is not my best use of Piano Motifs, by far. But it worked well with SynthScaper. I’m working/playing with something now that really showcases PM. It probably won’t get a gazillion hits, but I am finding it to be very satisfying. Piano Motifs is still the best app I ever bought. For someone like me, who doesn’t use external keyboards, it provides endless hours of ideas that I might have actually come up with myself, sitting at a piano. Hope you and yours are well!

Hi Andy. Actually, I was pretty much removed from the creative process. Rob Jackson created some outstanding apps for generating pleasant sounding soundscapes. I just decided to use them all in a single piece. The results were unexpected. They all generated content that seemed to work in any key. I think I settled on Em for the few bits that I contributed.
