@pseudophysics I have switched to Omnistat because I can use it as widgets in my notifications as well as a stand alone app. Not a lot of research into getting it, but it is working for me. Don't remember if I got in on sale or not, but knowing my habits its likely I got it on sale.
ifiles is the daddy with icloud drive integration

Have to agree here, It's my favorite 'files app'.
I just hope the dev adds support for Filepicker & Fileprovider Extensions...
Think it's time to get in touch with the dev again and see what's up with future versions.
I used to report bugs for this app many years ago and the developer was back then very responsive to requests...
@Samu Can you give a hint as to what you find it most useful for in daily use?

@DaveMagoo, can you copy or move files in iFiles from one cloud service to another, say, Dropbox to box.net, without copying first to the local device?

I use iFiles to store and manage all types of different files and documents.
It opens and views most document types you throw at it...
It's perfect as 'wifi-drive' to wirelessly transfer files between computer or between i-Devices as long as both are on same network. Moving zip-files from computer to iPad and use 'Open In...' and send to AudioShare. Think of it as wireless USB-Memory.
It's good for connecting to SMB and FTP servers (I connect to my Sinology Nas) for file-transfers and has also support for most online-storage services (DropBox, Box, GoogleDrive, iCloud etc.).
I sent an e-mail to the dev asking if there are plans to implement iOS Fileprovider and FilePicker extensions, no answer yet but i sent it just few hours ago.
I'm pretty sure it will be implemented.
Sure there may be alternatives like Documents 5. but i like the clean design of iFiles...
Thanks much Mister Sam. I've had it sat in my Utilities file (unopened) for some time, but wanted to do some proper cutting on a Voice Memo file and opened in easily in iFiles (one of the very few export options) and then sent it to open in Hokusai (which I'd even forgotten I still had) and, as a direct consequence, was reminded that actually Hokusai is exactly what I need for simple sample editing and then, on and up the food chain, opening it as a wave (not a pesky m4a that Voice Memo outputs in) in Auria....
So, all in all, a very productive reminder on your part. Thanks again!

You're welcome.
Personally i deleted Hokusai and use Twistedwave for most of my audio-editing, but that's a matter of personal preference and i feel the upcoming AudioShare 2.7 will cover most of the basic editing that i need (Trim with Zoom, Fade In&Out, Normalize).
Which Battery Doctor are people recommending? There seem to be several with similar names
@samu I hear you on AS. As regards Twistedwave ; never tried it. Ease of use or extra features vs. Hokusai (I have the Pro) in your opinion?
Twisted wave's UI is so much smoother than the frustrating Hokusai. TW uses the whole screen, Hokusai tracks are thin and run right to the edges of the screen making selecting some areas of the waveform very tough. Hokusai might have a couple more abstract features, but I've not opened it since falling in love with Twisted Wave.
I wonder if the new version of AS will meet the features most of us might buy a 'Twisted Wave' for? 10 bucks is ten bucks after all, might mean only one taco tonight rather than two (and a side of guac...)
i'm afraid i find ios really limiting without jailbreak and cydia apps - one cannot access folders or place files in unusual apps without ifile or ifunbox/syncios/moborobo, etc - itunes is a silly and stupid idea which is so limiting it makes me puke - have to jailbreak and then add 'activator' so you can say how you want you touchscreen and button to function, then you have to add 'crash reporter' and set it to leave notices - that way anytime you are tweaking and ios crashes (which is does constantly if you're a power user) you will know which was last file accessed. i am not going to continue on - i bet people freak out on me already, but the truth is the truth - once you buy a car you are free to repaint it, change the rims, add-subtract elements as long as it's street legal - but not with apple products - it's like you have to have a applebite on every single surface and next to your name - 'hi - i'm kundalini_snake_apple!' this is monoploizing and will be the end of apple as people become more aware of opportunities for individualization at the baseline user level
apple does not plan for the long run, they are making their money on the fly right now, and later they will leave everyone high and dry - this is just the way it is, as they have developed their personal computing hegemony - they demand you comply and change to be like them - but the world is too diverse and power users want the product to be like themself - apple needs to take apple out of their equation
jailbreak and cydia of jay freeman has done that with ios
From now, all Paper by FiftyThree IAP are for free:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id506003812?mt=8
In fact, all IAP are gone, so if you download the app, all of them are included for free (you don't need activate IAP from iPad "Adjustments\Restrictions".
MathStudio. This amazing app, free today.

Yes, just tried from icloud drive to dropbox.....just copied and pasted the file.
Cool, thanks.
Wow. Still free, thank you.
And same for the Paper IAPs, thank you! I had no idea. Just grabbed them all. Love the app but the fine tip/text pen was missing for me.
Pretty app, beyond zooming I presume there's no other controls for the pens/pencils? Seems limited, no doubt user weakness etc.
Thanks for the Paper info. Just downloaded it - agree with JG it's a bit basic (I presume all the IAP's have come with the main download) compared to Sketchbook Pro, which I also have, but the drawing is very smooth. I might actually use this one when I upgrade the pad.
Don't think I've got the IAPs - anyone know how to get them? I hate apps with no ruddy instructions...
Add me on to keen but simple list. Anyone?
IAPs in Paper are now all free so are just included in the app now (all the pens at the bottom are now selectable, originally you only had a couple, or even just one if I remember correctly) At least AFAIK
Paper's IAPs were rolled into the main app when it became 100% free and an ad for their stylus hardware. No need to do anything special to get them. It's basic functionality that you're already taking for granted. I found the app a bit fiddly so I deleted it after spending way too much time figuring out the IAPs.
I'm not so sure...looking through their intro video there seems to be a mixer and some other stuff I don't have. Naturally they skip over how you access them...
@monzo. I think if you touch and hold on the screen there's a pop up menu.
Or swipe down from the main page. I'm not really sure I just got it as well and accidentally did something to get that screen.
