What @offbrands said 👍
@offbrands @JanKun That you very much for your compliments and your review, you should work for a music magazine! Indeed, the steps are 6 - 12 at 142bpm for the percussions with microsteps settings for that fast paced gritty textures. I got the beat and the haunting part first, I liked the tribal dark mood it had and build the rest around it. Because I do most live I had to re-record the arrangement a couple of times as I was maxing out my cpu and I had to avoid crackles! Anyway, my first in Drambo as a host. I am hoping everything I do will be part of something bigger, but with every new track I always feel like starting at square one again. Thanks again, I wished I had more time to listen to other people’s work, but I usually do a quick scan in the general apps section as there is unfortunately too little time in a day
I agree with @offbrands about the ending. I began to get comfortable and into it because i thought it was about to go out on a Deep Tribal ting. I like it!
Please don’t apologize. It was crystal to me what you said, and words are just so dumb and stupid anyway. Hopefully we won’t need them anymore someday.
@offbrands The percussion part is done with Ruismaker FM, the beep with.. Bleep! Of course there are fx and all to turn it into something different. I had GRFX by Imaginando on the more ambient background textures (done with Ruismaker FM and Sunrizer), I think that thing eats a lot of cpu. The haunting ambient was done with Bleass Omega. It’s a matter of blending and trying to see what works. Audiothing Flip EQ is great to get rid of low/high frequencies quickly to give room to other elements so everything has it’s own place. I also use Pumphouse for some fake side chaining to clean up space for the kick. Audiothing Dials, Cascade and Punchlab are frequently used apps as well.
Reminds Stroboscopic Artefacts 15 years ago. Those were great times
Interesting, I will check this label out.👍
