[SOLVED] Getting a Button to Light Up on the First Beat
Hi,
I was trying to get a button to LIGHT UP on the first beat of each measure.
- I made a MIDI loop with 4 notes (one for each beat of a 4/4 meaure
- I made a MIDI Binging - when a note message is sent from the MIDI loop (above) - press the button
- I tried ALL of the various state feeback options in the button (disabled, first action and all actions)
- I added a "dummy action" to the press and release actions in the button; that is to change the volume on a audio bus that I am not using
NOTHING.... no matter WHAT I try..... I can not get the button to light up when the MIDI note on, through the MIDI Binding presses the button.
I got this to work in a new/test project.
I had in the actual project, somehow, had a MIDI plugin (mLFO), changing the value of an audiobus which was tied to the button.
For many projects, the existing metronome /click is fine. This project had some offbeat percussion in it.

Anyone know how to do this??
TIA

Use radio buttons as your target or toggle faders ..which when small are like LEDs.
