Lumbeat exporting MIDI beats question....

When you export, say, 16 bars of a drum pattern, does the Lumbeat drum app send the jamming notes as well as the basic beat?

Why not just try it out? I don't mean to be disrespectful, but sorry, I'm not motivated to do that for you when you can do it as easily yourself.

And not meaning it back at you, but was I asking you to?? Or asking anyone for that matter to try it?

No was merely asking if someone knew offhand. jeez!! Settle petal!

  • I got no problems with loads of questions but it'd be cool if you'd kept it in a single thread

It just seemed kind of odd to take more time checking the forum than to simply try it out. but ok.

There are two schools of thought on that. Some people prefer single subject threads that are less confusing. There's already a lot of tendency for threads to go off topic here.

I prefer more, focused threads than a bunch of jumble in a big thread.

was only posting it in passing as I was on the forum at the time, as it was something I've been thinking about but not got around to getting too deeply into. I have exported 16 bar patterns, but I am not sure if the receptor kit has the actual notes on the correct numbers to play all the "jamming notes" as I could not really tell if they were there or not.

And it was far quicker to post a q tbh, I need to export OUT of the iPad to a PC ;) which involves thumbdrives, and copy paste into folders etc etc

One person asked that for purposes of making a video.

ok bud, I'll just leave. I did give you snark. So your annoyance is just fine in my book. But I also don't apologize.

fwiw, I agree with this. Particularly on technical/theory threads.

It's a good thing "Pax Aeterna" is in your DNA then eh? 😎

OK, I do apologize for that one.

(Really. Too late to delete now though. I'll remind myself again to keep my snark under control.)

I exported the stems (audio files) from Pop Drummer for this track (using Song Mode) and it included the jamming notes and fills. I’d assume it would do the same for midi.
