Each clip plays one after the other

I'm struggling to get this to work.

Ive set clip 1 in its main settings to play once, but it loops... why?
I then tried setting a follow action on clip 1 to stop that clip, that worked!
Don't understand that if you set a clip in its main settings (not follow action) to play once, it actually still loops?
Anyhow, I then set another follow action on clip 1 to play next clip.
I set follow action on 2nd clip to play once, then play 3rd clip, and so on.

What happens is, I trigger clip 1 and it plays, then clip 2 plays on its own, then clip 3 plays, but clip 2 keeps playing?

Ive tried asking google, Gemini, look on YouTube, in the forum, but cant find an answer.

Seems there are so many obvious thing that people might want to do with loopy but what you would think is simple seems very convoluted.

Suggestion: I also use complex video editing software. In that interface you drag lines between things to connect them, and you can have multiple lines and mixed instructions for each part. Maybe loopy could do with a more interactive system like that?
I'm sure it possible, as the graphical side of loopy is already very powerful.

The problem with iPad is you are trying to show complex stages on a small screen, so you end up getting lost with all these menus that open other after the other, and you can't visually see what level your in. You have to rely on your memory so much, I actually forget what bit I'm supposed to click in the end.

Any help much appreciated.

That shouldn't happen. Does that happen if you start from the default Loopy template? It doesn't for me.

What you are describing is very unusual. Since we have had no similar reports, we’ll need to look at that project to see why it is not behaving correctly.

Please make a copy of that project and remove the follow actions, zip the project and post it somewhere from which I can download it and examine it. If “play once” is on for a clip, it should play only one time and stop.
