Appreciation post

Howdy Folks!

Just wanted to take some time to say how much I appreciate you girls and guys posting the stuff you create. You are true inspirations. I try to listen and watch most of the stuff that is posted, be it music or visual arts, and I'm in awe to what can be achieved. I don't like to use the word talent, because I feel it often minimizes the amount of work and dedication required to get there. So let's just say, I really dig it!

Unfortunately, life goes fast, especially with kids, so I don't comment each creation as much as I'd like... That is why I thought I'd take the time now to tell you to keep on posting. Love the diversity, the techniques, to see how each of you use the same tools in different ways.

Thank you for creating and sharing :)

  • Very encouraging post. I think this is a great community with some very knowledgeable, friendly people who seem eager to help. I don’t remember what drew me in initially but the welcoming members here cause no hesitation to create an account and jump in. I’ve heard some people talk about forum glory days but this seems to be a vibrant community where I feel I’ve made a few “online micro friendships”. Folks like @wim @McD @Gavinski @jwmmakerofmusic and devs like @cem_olcay and @Rob_Jackson_Music have taught me a ton. @Poppadocrock running the sales thread is a fantastic resource. I know there’s a bunch of members I didn’t list, but I really am grateful to be here.

Well said. Feel the same! Living in a small town where I get funny looks when I say I make music in a non-traditional way, it feels great to have this community!

  • Thank you for this. So where can I find your musical creations?

  • Thanks for the shoutout @FizzyLizzy27! And yes, there are some great folk on this forum for sure

  • @oscillotus Thank you for the encouragement. :) You're awesome for that.

@FizzyLizzy27 Thank you for the shoutout! You're the reason I got into DnB producing when you wanted to produce something like Dedf1sh back in...I think April it was.

  • I agree wholeheartedly! Without this forum my iOS experience would have been zero instead of the three albums short of 100 I am at now.

You never have to worry about asking any question. No one will ever be critical or condescending.
That’s rare, as I understand it.

Everybody does their best here from lurkers to creative and technical contributors and mods.
And, of course, our glorious founder @Michael.

    Happy holidays all!

  • Cheers to all! Yea I love this forum.

Still struggeling to come up with full song arrangements, but slowly getting there. I have no musical background at all, so this is not easy I find.

With Loopy Pro I created lots of templates to jam it out, have lots of fun doing that. It's perfect for that.

Now I'm more on Drambo, and I find letting LFOs and Graphic Modulators do the job more straight forward than clip launching. I feel this is what I need to plan out a structure. But now I'm learning all the modular stuff too so I don't finish anything again 😅

I hope 2026 is the year I can publish some stuff on Soundcloud, I'm eager to do that!!
