Samplr Sync
Anyone here been able to get Samplr to sync to an iOS DAW. I know is supposed to receive midi sync but does not want to be friends with send from Beatmaker2 for some reason. Heard someone say loopy syncs it well but am looking to Sync with a DAW. Anyone tried with Cubasis or one of others?

Can no one throw me a midi sync bone?
I love samplr, but this is one of the worst problems it has. There's no way of selecting what it will sinc to. For apps it will sinc with the latest on sending midi clock, have no idea how to sinc it with something external, but you'll probably want to use a midi routing app for that.
Samplr is awesome, but this, and the fact that you can't trigger anything with an external midi controller is a big problem for me...
I've synced it to something before. But I can't remember what .
Actually it was probably MidiBus. MidiBus is great. Your best bet is to have both BM2 and Samplr sync to MidiBus.
That said, I have a vague memory of possibly syncing it direct to BM2. Try messing around with all the settings in BM2's global midi panel, however illogical. You could also try the midi-bridge trick used to drive DM1 with BM2.

Thanks @Matt_Fletcher_2000 Will try bm2 again, also I think someone said maybe loopy driving bm2 and Samplr at same time though not sure how ipad2 would handle all that. Loved your track on soundtest room by the way
This has always been something I have struggled with. I have always had rock solid syncing with loopy; whenever I tried with bm2 I would just end up recording samplr into loopy and paste it into bm2. i could never get them to sync. I think the work around you mentioned with loopy would work, but probably cause some latency. I like the midibus idea, I have been eyeing that for awhile.
Anyone out there tried syncing BM2 and Samplr simultaneously using Midibus? Or Cubasis or any other DAW.
Thanks @RedSkyLullaby.
In response, i'd say that your album (which I think is great) has motivated me to get arse in gear and make a 'proper' album.
