Samples from mars downloads - advice/help

Hi,
Have just bought Black Friday all samples bundle for phone but downloading not going well. Has anyone had trouble with this?
There’s no option for smaller download size WAV only which is what I want and says is available on website. Files are otherwise huge and memory is nearly all gone. Also downloading just stopped working after a few files. Also had one disappear after not saving in files. Didn’t show up anywhere (iCloud, recent etc.). Just seeing if any others had similar problems or knew any trouble shooting. Thanks.

  • If you can, try and download them on a computer using a download manager. There’s an extension for Firefox called DownThemAll which will resume the download if the connection drops out. Trying to get the files on a phone sounds like a nightmare and you only get three attempts per file iirc.

  • I bought it like four years ago and I was able to download the whole thing to my desktop, but I thought I had the option to individually download each pack as well because I remember downloading a few directly to my device.

    If no desktop, and no individual downloads I’d recommend plugging in an external hard drive and downloading the whole thing right there.

  • I bought the entire drum packs recently, and I downloaded each individually from a download site. I used my iPad to download them.

    @FordTimeLord Now it's down to two attempts, but one could always reach out to support to have the number reset.

    Yep that’s true but the wording makes it sound like they’d really rather you don’t do that. I didn’t fancy putting it to the test :)

    Yeah, I actually had to reach out to support and get my login credentials switched, I forget why but they responded promptly and fixed it for me.

  • There are A LOT of files in the full download. They give you a lot of different formats and a lot of different tunings and settings. Good luck! 😎✌🏼

  • Yeah, that is too much content to store on a phone.

    If you're stuck using a phone, then spend the extra quid a month to upgrade your iCloud storage and keep it there.

  • Thanks for everyone’s advice. It was a very silly mistake on my part regarding download sizes etc. Have to say that samples from mars have gone above and beyond to rectify situation so thanks to them. Top company.
