Using Serum presets in Groove Rider 2
I was looking over GR2’s App Store page and saw that “serum .wav format supported”. I’m familiar with serum but only from when it comes up researching desktop synths.
Is there anything unique about serum .wav files compared to other wavetables? Is this a niche feature for GR2? Is serum a good desktop synth and can GR2 fill a similar role on iOS?

Comments
GrooveRider GR16 and GrooveRider 2 are both compatible with Serum wavetables (2048 samples length in each frame).
If all you want is a straightforward wavetable synth then the groove riders work but Serum can do a lot more.
I figured Serum is a lot more capable in comparison. GR2 is a pretty straightforward synth design wise I’m pretty sure.
