(Ignore) Using Motu Ultralite Mk4 with iPad+AUM

edited December 2025 in Hardware

EDIT: I sorted this out by poking around in the settings more and coming to terms with the labels that the device uses. The label "Audio Out 1" is at once the input from input 1 AND the device's output mixer. Sometimes all you need to do is make a fool of yourself . . .

I recently picked up an Ultralite Mk4 to upgrade from an M4. The mk4 is supposedly class compliant and I've seen it discussed as a good iPad interface, however I'm struggling to get AUM to see its inputs. AUM only sees its outputs.

Presumably I could configure the mk4 using the Mac to route inputs to outputs, but this feels wacky.

If you're using an Ultralite mk4 with your iPad, what settings are you using to be able to route audio through it into (and out of) your apps?
