Hi friends!

Wow it's been a while since I posted on here. Well hope it's ok to share the news about my latest remix contest. We've partnered up with Audiokit, 1010 Music, and Cherry Audio for this one! I really hope to see some iOS remixes in the mix.

My company Soundtrack Loops is excited to bring you the SCHAR “Get Ready For Me” Remix Contest. Win 1010 Music Bento, Cherry Audio synths, and more.

We're inviting producers worldwide to participate in the SCHAR “Get Ready For Me” Remix Contest. The contest challenges remixers to put their own spin on the latest track from rising electronic artist SCHAR (Scharliina).

The top prize includes a 1010 Music Bento valued at $900, along with Cherry Audio Rhodes Chroma (VST/AU), AudioKit Viral Synth (iOS), a $100 Soundtrack Loops shopping spree, and exclusive merchandise — giving the 1st place winner a total prize value of approximately $1,260. Second and third-place winners also receive music gear, software, and merch valued at $209 and $134, respectively.

The contest is free to enter and open to remixers worldwide. Submissions must be a minimum of 2½ minutes, use at least one provided vocal stem, and AI-generated remixes are not allowed. One submission per participant is permitted, though improved versions can be uploaded. Entries are accepted until January 16, 2026 at 11:59 PM PST, with winners announced on January 30, 2026.

“Remix contests are all about community, creativity, and exploring new sounds,” says Jason Donnelly, founder of Soundtrack Loops. “We’re excited to see how producers from around the globe interpret SCHAR’s track. Every remix brings something fresh, and we can’t wait to showcase the best entries.”

    Can you tell me a little more about this? For example, what exactly are you providing me to work with? I watched her video and it’s 2:15 in length, but you are asking for a minimum of 2:30. I can easily stretch that out to much, much longer, depending on what you’re looking for and what you can provide. Am I free to do absolutely anything I want? Not to worry… I’m old enough to be her… (fill in the blank). Could I add some Motörhead thrash guitars, Henry Mancini orchestra, and John Bonham drums? I think I could mangle this beyond recognition. It would be fun. I don’t care about the money or rewards. I am just looking for something to do this weekend. It’s really cold in Chicago. Peace and love, bro.

    You get all the stems from the song. You can do whatever you think is a remix. We just set the minimum length so that peeps don't upload something really short and waste space. Gotta be the length of the song at least. If you want to do a metal version of the song that's fine just use some parts of her vocals to meet the requirements. BPM 103 A# minor is the original.
