Neo Soul Keys Studio 2
Picked this up after my thread on the house mark 1 app. It’s currently on sale along with its iaps (of which I’ve bought most).
I have to say I’m blown away by tones in this app and the iaps. The clarity grand is stunning. I’m pretty much preset surfing and just getting into tweaking things.
My only wish is it would load up with the last loaded preset/settings. Other than that, this thing is perfect.

Yep I also picked it up on BF. I also really like the sound of it but man it comes at a hefty minimum of like 9GB. I pretty much only play one preset. IMO it’s not worth it clocking up 9GB of my iPads storage.
I’d definitely get VTines instead next time. It sounds and feels great too but is very small in size.
You can pick and choose based on your preset what to keep downloaded @jacou - I have my install around 2-3GB IIRC
Admittedly my iPad feels heavier after installing and downloading all the iaps. It does let you store them on an ssd, which is nice, but I don’t like carting around extra storage.
The sound and feel is amazing though.
Oh I didn’t know that! How do you do that if I may ask?
Yeah, I’d like to know as well… my installation is weighing in at 14GB.
As shown in the photo you have the option to delete. The VIP expansion I find has some that are great for my use so I don’t do the factory content. Find out which ones you use regularly, figure out which pack they are in, and then pare down from there.
When looking at the Factory Content, if you long press on presets, there is a delete samples option. I haven't confirmed that it slims things, but it might
So I got Pure Synth instead, downloaded all of Neo Soul 2’s patches, as well as Bassalicious 2’s and FM Tine’s stuff, but I loaded everything onto an Micro SD card that I can access through my dongle (Hyperdrive 6in1 usb-c). Works great.
Tried it.
Unfortunately it deletes the entire group of presets. I was hoping it would just delete a single preset.
Oh ok. I’m not really willing to spend another 9€ on that app only to save some space 😅
IMHO still the best sounding Rhodes on iOS (with V-Tines and Pianoteq close behind).
It has a feel to it as well. Hard to quantify, but it's there.
