Hi there, I only just got my first iPad recently, so I'm still learning lots about it all, but my experience with the Alesis IO Dock II so far is that it works really well.
I'm using it with the latest iPad Air 2, despite it not being officially supported. It connects easily with audio and midi and enables me to integrate the iPad with the rest of my existing studio, so I'm really pleased with it.
Were there any specific questions you have about it?
yes today akai recommended this particular audio interface for use with the impc pro app
I'm trying to find out if it works with the app like they said?
Ah, I've not got that app, so I don't know how it integrates with the dock. In the apps I've tried, the audio and midi inputs and outputs show up automatically, so it's really easy to use how I want. I'm certainly pleased with it so far
thanks anyway Vecoto, hopefully can find someone with both the app and interface because apparently it's one of only 2 audio interfaces that might work with the app.
What really ticks me off and got me to banish MPC amateur sampler from my ipad was the very fact that they claimed it worked for sampling line, with absolutely no mention that very few interfaces would work.
yeah I know. I'm trying to confirm what akai is telling me but I don't have an alesis to try out. If you know anyone that has an alesis specifically version 2 and the app please inquire .
