Been on iPad for a number of years now and started learning video editing last year on LumaFusion
Got my inaugural iPhone 15 Pro Max two weeks ago and am marveling at what I can get accomplished (where i had to wait to grab the ipad in the past)
I REALLY want to post more video content... Music, production stuffs, tutorials, concepts, impressions on apps, etc etc - and I'm finally discovering a workflow that might fit my fked up schedule of a life!*
That said:

I’m really excited for you bro-dude-dawg. I know the feeling, meaning my family dynamics sound similar to yours. But with some creativity and thoughtful planning, the ios ecosystem is really conducive for continuing to grow musically and creating output for us dads and or hubbies!

Just the phones alone... I was running a note 9 and her a galaxy S10. Unable use the IMDb app or banking apps since they were no longer supported on Android 10 and 11 respectively
Thru a series of events, I got the 15 Pro Max, my wife got a Pixel 10 Pro* and we are paying $10 LESS per month than we were
(*Loyalty offer that popped up for a free phone, no plan upgrade, no new line, just because we've been with em for so long. Floored.)
Been a weird month to be certain

I've had a project in mind for a while, and this Christmas (and black Friday sales) is bringing it all together
I've had a budding desire to get a an RC-505 since covid hit any hopes of joining Soul Food Cypher in Atlanta (planned for spring 2020 after beatboxing for buddies for a while, ones a regular of SFC and was gonna tag along) were dashed
After learning of loopy Pro and getting an ipad - the concept developed into a portable rig... Then Ari@Home popped off. Holy shit. He's doing what I was conceiving! Zero envy or thoughts of being beaten to the punch... 100% motivation that IT WORKS!! My idea also didn't include walking... But posting up as a busker with a mic for passer bys, but i do like the walking thing... And I am just outside of Atlanta)
Completely different way of going about it tho, so here's a VERY early sneak preview, as I'm finally opening and getting used to everything
We are looking at
Bluetooth macro pad from Ali Express
Midi Fighter Twister (I fking adore the aesthetic of the OP-1... A little tribute here... Thought about only doing the 3rd row down ... But I don't like the aesthetic THAT exactly xD)
Momix will finally let me do guitar and vocals simultaneously (also, multiple audio outs are hella needed for my streaming setup)
M-vave SMK-25 ii - haven't had legit keyboard since getting an ipad, went from Nanokey to Laumchpad
And (on the launchpad) what showed up 3 days ago and has taken up all other time, an AirMotion Pro btmidi breath controller
And it all fits perfectly on a lap desk I picked up a while back... Only thing missing is the ipad, for which a locking arm mount so it'll be up where the momix box is when all's said and done
Plan is, when I can get Lives up and running, I'll stream setup and individual pieces of hardware as I'm putting em all together
And the template building that goes along with it

Finally got time to start learning the ins outs!
I would like to make a default action for the Twister in which long clicking the knob copies, next clicked knob is where it’ll move
I know how to do this one button/pad at a time (merge/move, next tapped, etc), I was curious if there’s a way to add that as a MIDI Controller ‘Default’ of sorts
Only options under Control Setting > MIDI Devices > MFT > Hold are
Toggle Play
Toggle Record
Clear
Is there another way to do this style profile natively, or do I need to go the long way (one at a time) in the meantime and hit up the Requests board to add something?
I want to do a few pages of 4x4, two colors on eight donuts each, and have the Twister pick up each page
Rather than what I have planned: having to midilearn multiple profiles and shift thru them - if there’s an easier option baked into its ‘official’ integration already available 🤷♂️
