Unless I missed it, I couldn’t find any mention of this in the forum search. For $3, it might be worth checking out for some of you.
    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/harmonitron/id6790326853

“Harmonitron is a harmonic tremolo. The rich, swirling amp “vibrato“ made famous by early-1960 brownface amplifiers.“

I did share it a day or two ago, but no harm in reminding us.

My Keyboard Pro is free usually $9.99, create custom keyboards

Is it true that keyboard apps track keystrokes?

I cant say for sure, each app is different, but it is a very valid concern. I removed most of my additional keyboards for that very reason.

Update - I think it is possible, when using a particular keyboard, and depending on how much you trust that app/developer. Id have to do more research, but for now i keep my keyboards at a minimum.

    New Release by @sigintsound

Skipback AUv3 is new and completely free!

    Online Manual

Words from the developer, posted in another thread:

“it can be used to do retrospective recording of both Audio (up to the last 1 minute sent to the plugin) and MIDI (up to 5000 notes). The application works standalone, and as an AUv3 - AUM is the primary target host, but I do my best to support all hosts (Koala sampler, cubasis, garageband etc). You can export your captures by clicking on the button or dragging and dropping audio/midi where supported (drag and drop audio to Koala, drag and drop MIDI to 4pockets Helium, etc). There is also a MacOS version available in the MacOS app store that runs standalone or under Ableton Reaper, etc.”

  • Optimal Audio is $2 off at $.99, optimize sound for your space

Ok this plugin is genius and will be so helpful in sand or Cubasis or ableton. Wow!

Thanks, I intend to stay keyboard free until I see something that breaks the cycle.

NEW RELEASES - wanted to share individually, but do not have time at the moment

Harmonic Synth is simply astonishing. $8 now and likely will see steep price increases and no sales. Really worth considering now for those who love experimental additive and missed it at launch. 7-day trial for “pro” that starts automatically upon opening the app (to keep in mind).

I agree. The interface is a hot mess, but the sound is very nice. I can not figure out how to buy the unlock, though. Do you have any hints?

There is a way to report the test flight bug discussed above, but you need a dev account, which I don’t have. Maybe someone who has one can report this issue:

    https://developer.apple.com/feedback-assistant/

I’ve got a dev account. I have TestFlight but don’t open it too often. If someone wants to draft something up explaining the issues I can send one in later.

Thnx! Just say: some users report that after the update, apps in test flight are listed only alphabetically, with no ability to view by recency, and that current betas and expired betas are all mixed together in one list.

Is it me or is the new TestFlight app terrible? I cant find a way to sort the beta apps. its just a long list containing most of the apps Ive beta tested in alphabetical order, with a search bar at the top. They are not separated between current betas and old betas, it’s ridiculous. I liked when they were sorted by recent update, with current apps at the top, and previous at the bottom, now they are all mixed together. I mean seriously….

Just updated it on my phone and you are correct. It’s complete garbage now.. 🤷‍♂️ WTF Apple?

I wonder if this depends on the iOS version. I have TestFlight 4.3.0 and it looks like @anickt's previous post. This is on iPad Air 6 2024 M2 11", iPadOS 26.5.2.

My iPhone SE 2022 is up to date (26.5.2)..It also has the latest TestFlight update (4.3.0).. horrible mess..

I have an iPad A16 that’s also up to date (26.5.2) but I’m NOT updating TestFlight on it yet.. don’t want to take the chance..

So strange that it works fine for some but a complete mess for others..

  • What exactly is the “big mess”? I’m on a fully updated A16. Mine looks like this:
