What would be the advantage of using Handclapper as a sample player vs a multisample import player like Sitala?
For me...
Stability, price of admission, sample control.
Like having a specialist versus a generalist.

Lowest price ever! For $29, this is a true gift! Hurry! How much I wish pianoteq was instead of it...
It's IK Multimedia. I have to assume if the discount is that steep, they're about to pull it from the market and drop support or something.
That worries me too. Don’t wanna spend 30$ on a dead end.

I thought exactly the same when I saw this, would not trust that dev at this point
If they are pulling most of their software I wounder what’s their plan. Being a hardware manufacturer ? Their ToneX pedals are a big hit and I think their monitors too.
I wouldn’t buy anything from IK on iOS due to their lack of iOS support/updates of Tonex.
Yonac KingB is an excellent option if you’re looking for a similar style organ.
I did a little digging and they are still promoting it at NAMM 2026. Seem to be a NAMM sale. https://www.facebook.com/ikmultimedia/photos/were-heading-to-namm-2026-and-kicking-off-our-30th-anniversary-with-a-huge-dealn/1331326189034153/?http_ref=eyJ0cyI6MTc3MDQxMjYwNjAwMCwiciI6Imh0dHBzOlwvXC9kdWNrZHVja2dvLmNvbVwvIn0=
There was something weird about the way they decommissioned Mixbox and Sampletron when they were such flagship plugins. They didn’t really explain why which makes me think it was a legal issue with the partner they collaborated with or something like that.
100%
I’ve still got Mixbox and the option to get the IAP. I’m so curious if it would go through or not. If it were $2 maybe Id try it but isn’t it like $80?
Mine is a desktop comment, but I bought AudioThing's Hand Clapper on Pluginboutique for $12.50 (plus I had a few credits for a little more off that price) and then got a free $49 plugin from Minimal Audio (Cluster Delay) as a bonus. That might be my best deal yet.
I'm keeping all of my countless IK multimedia plugins until they all fail, but I'm not buying anything else from those guys in the future. I've had it with their wacky price and promo games.
