Picture In Picture Assistant is free usually $1.99, pip and no ads for YouTube. Remember to please watch as many ads as you can bear for our friends with iOS YT channels.

I guess paying for YT premium screws over creators a bit.

Actually I believe that helps them, i think they get a cut of that somehow. I could be wrong. @Gavinski could you confirm this for us? Cheers.

Yes, they get a cut. Tbh, either way, ad revenue / YouTube premium revenue is so insignificant in a niche with such small views as ours (maybe about $3 per 1000 views, exact figure varies and depends on many factors), that it doesn't really matter. The only meaningful way to support YouTubers in our niche is with direct financial support of some kind, Patreon, donations, using affiliate links etc!

YouTube take 45% of ad revenue on long form videos So if you do the math you see that, even if YouTube took nothing at all and gave everything to us, it still wouldn't be anywhere near fair compensation. Niche is just too small. My YouTube income varies month to month, but averages currently around £100 a month. If YouTube gave us everything, it still wouldn't even be £200 a month.

Shorts are another ballgame altogether, they pay so little per 1000 views, just maybe around 10 or 15 cents per 1000 views for me, so they don't even factor in at all.

So yeah, that's the reality of the situation, sadly, direct support is the only really meaningful support, as I've been saying for years, and that's why now I focus more on Patreon, not YouTube.

Yikes. Right on, that is very interesting. I appreciate the detailed feedback and the honesty. Im assuming that’s before all their operating costs as well.

    Audiothing anniversary sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    NEW audio app OCTAVES $3.99

    Lines $9.99

    BOOGA $12.99

    Bubbles $ 2.99!!!

All the heinbach weirdness discounted, most likely a one week sale

Hand clapper $3.99 - I always mention this because it’s such a great drum sampler. It’s kinda my go-to for hats (paired with kaleidoscope). You can load any drum OneShot into it and make it a “specialist”.

I’ll re-post some epic drum one-shots that you can explore with handclapper, but I find the fun in creating ratchety hat oneshots, feeding it to HClapper, and then tweaking it further in there.

To bad that b00ga has less discount than the rest. 😕

  • Is lines recommended for other things than guitar and rhodes?

  • Re: lines, Depends on the sound you’re going for. Personally, I think it thrives with sporadic / individual notes as opposed to complex chord progressions as Hainbach can get rowdy quickly.

If you like experimental stuff, it’s worth grabbing, can definitely use in lots of ways, but it’s for sure an experimental plugin, you’d have to be willing to read the manual or watch videos to get the most from it.

  • Thanks. I do use wires a lot
    Sounds great with synths.
