This is my favorite song I’ve ever written. I wrote it to play with my pop-punk/grunge band back in college. I always write my guitar parts acoustic first to make sure the “silhouette” of the song is solid (a lesson from Tom Morello from Rage Against of Machine) and play rhythm guitar as drums (thanks Dave Grohl of Nirvana/Foo Fighters).
I’m torn on posting this one because I’ve always wanted a “finished” version of this song with electric guitar, bass, drums, and harmonies before posting it anywhere. But I’ve been saying that for 5 years now so I’m using Jamuary as my reason to just do it.

Thanks @GeoTony and thanks for kicking off Jamuary. It’s been nice to focus on my acoustic and singing again. I love what I’ve learned using iOS instruments but I’m not confident enough to crank something out daily yet.
