AudioShare file question

Where are the files stored on my iPad?
If I open Files I see an AUM folder with project files in it but no AudioShare folder. Where are my AudioShare audio files kept?

Comments

  • Enable AudioShare in the sidebar of files app.. audio recordings are inside AUM Recordings folder..

  • If you need to access the AUM recordings thru Files.app AudioShare.app is more or less needed.
It is however possible to export audio recordings from AUM as you can browse the recordings folder and pick files to export.

Someday I hope it'll be possible to skip AudioShare (I personally see no practical benefit of it it anymore) and access AUM recordings directly in Files.app.

  • Thank you both, this is the information I needed!

  • FWIW I find AudioShare quite useful for organizing folders of samples including trimming, looping, deleting unnecessary files, converting formats, and more. Once I’m done I just transfer organized folder to iCloud and delete the work folder out of AudioShare. It could use an update to fix a few things like waveforms disappearing after a time but overall I still prefer it to other methods I’ve tried. 😎✌🏼
