Seb,can I ask make a request...

I know it's Easter and one should be at rest but I have a request.
Could(as they'll listen to you),you ask cubasis devs to
Move the AB tab from the bottom of the screen, to the right.if your trying to edit velocity of notes in the edit window, the AB tab keeps popping up....(that make sense?)
Also the velocity bars are so tiny it's a real pain to get any real control over them.a pop up window with the ability to adjust values would be nice.
If your too busy,no worries, but as your the driver of the bus, they may be more inclined to listen.
Happy holidays to all the AB bunnies

  • You know that you can hide the AB icons if they get in the way? Then bring them back with a gesture when you need them.

    Yes,that's what I do Phil.
But if you then try to edit velocity values..
(Little bar graph graphic at the bottom of the page)the AB tab thinks you want to show it again.it pops up every time you touch the screen.
Some devs have put it on the left or right of the screen.im sure they have all given it some thought as to where it should go.
Cubasis have put it at the bottom of the screen..an area that is used a lot..(wave edit/midi edit/media window)
So it does obscure an area in constant use and will try to pop up anytime you try to work in this area
The right side of the screen seems to be an area that is not as busy.
But I do appreciate its not easy to squeeze so much into a small space.

  • I stand corrected!

  • I also need to clarify that the AB tab only pops up if you slide your finger up...but that's the same movement required to increase the velocity value.

  • I agree it would be good if all apps gave you the option to set any of the 4 sides of the screen in their globals.

  • Yes. A little icon revealable under the audiobus icon in the panel to rotate which side the panel is on at any given moment in any given app would be a welcome addition. Most times it's totally fine but sometimes, especially on the iPhone, it's just in the wrong spot for what you're trying to do in that moment.

  • I don't have control over what the Cubasis developers do, I can only point them to what users are saying, which I'm going to do, though.
