Rebirth on iOS8?
I just saw that propellerheads bundle (which allow me to buy Rebirth for 3 bucks) and was wondering if rebirth runs on iOS8?Any experiences?
Quite nice the whole bundles thing

Yeah it works fine execpt for the usual AB Intergration warning, which may never be sorted if Rebirth updates are anything to go by, however still an awesome app on its own, a little piece of history, grab it anyway at that price
from my twitter with PH: Re: ReBirth, can't talk about the future.
Thanks guys!
Interesting answer... @Goozoon...

Could use a Retina graphics upgrade. Or maybe they're going for the retro look?
hope its not the end

Well, after your post i thought it would work when i close the warning and move on but Rebirth doesn't even show up in Audiobus. Is that normal?
Edit:installed Audiobus again but same result.
I just bought this, since I recall it on pc's in the late 90's I think. Classic, and works fine, but there are a lot of small knobs and buttons. All good though. Different skins look ill and in change the sounds. That kinda wigged me out. Oh, on another note : I had the iPhone version installed on my iPad and it looked pretty bad. Then I bought the iPad version and it looks amazing in comparison. I was wondering if I should buy the iPad version of animoog even though I have the iPhone version. Will the in app purchase's carry over? Thanks ya'll
Do you use rebirth on ios 8 and does it work with Audiobus for you?

Bit ominous - hope it's not removed to make way for Rebirth 2. Already been through this with Technobox
Just bought Rebirth - works fine with AB on iOS 7 at least.
Rebirth does work on ios8 , just fine standalone. I nave not tried rocking thru audio bus though. It looks good and no crashes on iOS 8. Cheers
ok,easy fix for me:refund
Last update was over a year ago and i'm tired of waiting for devs to get their shit together. It's useless to me without AB or IAA
I can buy rebirth anytime for 3 bucks (bundle price).
@Crabman Just a heads up, I've read that Apple will refuse refunds after x number of times.

Really? That doesn't sound legal, if a product doesn't work then trading regulations would apply regardless of what particularly policy a company says it has. If it doesn't work as advertised they're legally obliged to provide a refund. I think if you had a genuine case and threatened to report them (if you're in the UK) to Trading Standards or ask your credit card provider to obtain a refund on your behalf, they'd cough up sharpish.
In the case of Rebirth they're being honest about it not working with AB on ios 8 so on that basis a refund wouldn't be guaranteed.
Works fine for me on ios7, and I'm unlikely to upgrade any time soon so I'll have fun with it until I do.
^^ This. They'll tell you when they grant a refund that they're making an "exception."
Ahh, I wanted to rock rebirth into turn ado and crystalline! Maybe I can do it with regular in app routing or whatever..

UK distance selling regulations are pretty strong in regards products not working as advertised at the point of sale, and companies could be fined in breach of these so I'd take their own terms with a pinch of salt. If something doesn't work as advertised then it means they're either stocking faulty products, or the product page descriptions are factually incorrect, either of which would mean the customer is entitled to a full and prompt refund on their purchase.
I've had this before with sites that stock other authors products. I've bought items that don't work and the host store has tried to wriggle out of a refund, pointing to reams of small print that says they can do anything they like and are responsible for nothing. All of which is rubbish, they take the payment at the point of sale so ultimately they're responsible if you've bought a dud.
It actually quite clearly states that AB is disabled in iOS 8 in the leading line of the description in the App Store. This is in the Aus store anyway.
i changed my mind anyway after playing arround with it the first time in a lot of years.Still surprised how close it comes to the real (303)deal.Songmode combined with ACP is ok for now.I'll shoot a mail to the support instead.
It seems to sound better than my old PC version - more beefy and squelchy. That's my noisy fun session sorted for tonight.

I just had a look at the description again and in the german store there is no single word about any problems with Audiobus or iOS8 so the description is misleading.

I can see it in the UK store, so probably Apples error. If you've just bought it from the German store and it's not working on your iPad then you should get a refund, particularly if it's within 21 days of purchase
It works only standalone but i don't give it back.I already sent a mail, hope some more people will do it (or already did) so we'll see a fix someday.
Tell us what you will get from PH support
I already got an answer but the mail ended with a kind of NDA,lol.
Let me try it like this:it was a VERY positive answer
Funny that Rebirth is currently on the 3rd place in the german appstore. No,not only in the music category
NDA? .. you might sign NDA
tell us.. new reworked version?
