Looks like maybe a control app for the hardware amp? The whole "mojo" of this from what I can see is in the (expensive) boutique hardware. Certainly an iOS app isn't the result of 7 years of dreaming, design, and building. Certainly it isn't truly analog at all if it's an app. Surely it isn't going to be a full replacement for an almost $3,000 amp.
I'd be interested in the source of your tipoff about this @ninobeatz, or if you have more information. The link just takes one to the hardware page, with no mention at all of an upcoming software component.

Thanks everyone, good to know. The link only pointing to the hardware page, with zero info about software to be found, made me wonder. It’s nice to know there will be an app.

If this is an app emulating their boutique hardware, I’m curious to see how they’ll price it on iOS.

The plugin is absolutely legit on desktop! Bit of a CPU hog but it's probably my favourite analogizer. The vibe from people who had the hardware as well was that it was probably 90-95% accurate but it deffo sounds really good. For mixing if I had just stock plugins and could choose just one 3rd party extra plugin it would probably be this one. Comes with lots of extra modules from Unfiltered audio (vinyl sim, VHS, 12 bit dac etc), SSL line amp and last update added a simple SSL bus compressor which sounds great. Capable of doing the most subtle touch of analogue goodness to proper crazy stuff. The dev is strangely resistant to adding an input knob which would help workflow but I think it's great.
Dunno what the pricing will be on ios but when PA do a deep sale the developer prices matches direct on their website. Extremely worth $29 on Mac or pc imo! Definitely worth a demo....
