Subscription.
People who owned it before it went subscription have been grandfathered in, but I doubt they'll get the new features. It'd be nice if they do, but I doubt it.
Per month prices, except for the lifetime one
When I open Midi Designer I see that I have the Premium Legacy version. What version is that exactly?
That currently means you’re grandfathered in with all the current features that are now subscription. I doubt it’ll include the new features.
We will wait and see.
Well, I asked them if the Premium Legacy owners also will get the coming update. This is the answer :
'Hi Peter,
Yes, legacy owners get the updates for free.
Best!
Dan'
Yeah, as cool as it might be, I have zero interest with subscription or without a massive, massive, massive sale to lifetime, ever
Thanks for asking @Pierre118 - that's amazing news. They really did a full turnaround and are going way beyond what I would have expected in honoring their pre-subscription user base. Big props to them!
I almost feel guilty getting that stuff for free.
On the other hand, I would never in a million years have gone subscription, so I guess it's no loss on their end either way.
