‘Bossa New Va” (with downloadable MP3 track added)
I bought more apps and set them up in AUM:
Battalion - an inspriring rhythm box
Outgrowth - a very clever sampler instrument
Spacewalk - with the MIDI multiplied by 8x in AUM
The MP3 of the audio is uploaded here for anyone to play over or chop up.

Nice little bossa beat. Love latin music. Should expand on this one, @McD. Good bossa base sound for a full song.
It’s a backing track for a section of a longer work… would you be interested in improvising or composing a tune over a loop? I could see how much audio I can upload here for anyone interested. I pulled the audio into StaffPad but need to find the motivation to deal with the pencil… I could use a midi keyboard and improvise some parts.
UPDATE: I added the MP3 audio too the original post for anyone to play along to or chop up for parts.
I found a couple more apps to add to the chaos:
Mic Drop (2 instances being driven by PianoTeq and NOT me singing for input)
I dialed in a harmonic interval between the two instances since the MIDI input is pretty static melodically in this case.
Pop Drummer (providing the MIDI notes to the PianoTeqs)
I'm just scratching the surface of the MicDrop's potential as a vocal synth.
Nice track but I fail to hear any bossanova in it
Well... I used Google for research here.
My title is intended to imply an updated latin groove
Bossa = hump/bump
New = Yankee stealing culture
Va = In Portuguese, "VA" isn't a standalone word but often appears as a clipped form of "vá" (from ir, meaning "go") like in "Vá lá" (Go on/Come on)
it's a joke and like the positive reviews of 45 records on Dick Clark's American Band Stand: "It's got a good beat to dance to"
An almost disco'd samba.
I put about 10 seconds into my names and spend hours defending them.
