Aparently deadmau5 has offered to by Traktor as he uses it exclusively!

If you are a serious composer for a living and spent thousands on Kontackt libraries I can understand why this is worrying times.

A long watch but some serious discussions here on the industry front.

Or Muse Group that acquired/merged with StaffPad. Muse Group is probably tool small for this level of required revenue.
But generally speaking most acquired software companies are raped for assets and left to continue a death spiral.

    PropellerHead (Reason Inc?)

    StaffPad

I’m sure there are many more that sold because the revenue was not sustainable to support the company.

I’d imagine whoever buys them will dump some of the products. The NI line is pretty bloated these days.

I could see inMusic buying NI 🫣 they have a place to upsell the sample libraries with Akai.

  • The most based, sane take I've seen on the whole insolvency issue.

    No sensationalism here.
