JWM - Koala Experiment 012726 (Experimental Electronic music in Koala)
Well, it started off as just another Ambient drone project, right? The first sound you hear is that drone sampled from Megalit, but instead of sticking to layering more drones on top, I created a beat with Fractal Bits and sampled that into Koala. Then I sampled Omega for the 3rd/7th pad, Tutti Orchestra 1 from Module Pro for the strings, and Kingston from Gadget for the "game music" arp.
I used Koala's Sequencer this time, keeping the drone at 100% chance (so it always plays), and everything else with a 50% chance of playing back.
I mastered this in Cubasis 3 with Bark Filter, Cubasis' Brickwall, and Youlean's Loudness Meter. The piece is very short (I should've extended out the sequence just a bit longer to be honest), but I enjoyed making it. I hope you enjoy listening to it.
