Can't switch pianoteq presets

Hi I'm new here and pretty new to loopy pro. I'm trying to set up a widget to change pianoteq 9 presets. It seems like I've tried everything I can imagine. I have a vague memory of getting a button to switch presets via program change when I swipe right. But I can't reproduce it. I am able to put presets in the folder at the top of the plugin and switch manually but I can't get a widget to do that. When I used Gig Performer on Mac I was able program buttons to go through presets and also instruments. If I could do that, that would make me the happiest. Short of that I would like to be able choose different presets via a button. Has anybody been successful with these things with oianoteq in particular? I love quirky programs like Loopy Pro but the learning curve at my age...

Can you say more about what you mean about changing presets with a widget? Do you want radio buttons or a dial to select presets?

    Or something else?

  • I want to change presets in my instrument plugin Pianoteq. I guess I shoulda been clear that pianoteq is an instrument plugin within a channel strip. Funnily right now for this project I'm not even using the looping part of loopy pro.

I understand that you want to change presets. I don’t understand what kind of widget you want to use. Radio buttons and stepped dials are most commonly used. But it isn’t clear to me exactly what want.

The action that selects presets is Select Audio Unit Preset. You can use it in any widget to choose presets visible in Loopy Pro’s presets pop down for any AU .

I can show the set up if you provide more explicit direction. The particular audio unit instrument doesn’t matter. The mechanism is the same for all.
