My crappy android phone can do something musical my iPad can't.
Run Giorgio San Cristoforo instruments!
Kind of... Of course the screen size makes it totally unusable, buuuuut... Maybe when my iPad crashes out I'll get a half decent android tablet instead... Who knows!?

Haha, what do you have to do to get them working Dan? I always wish this dev ported his stuff to iOS, but looks like he never will. There are no android versions. U have to use some emulator or something? Please advise, I might be tempted to grab his forthcoming arp 2500 for android. Mind you, I've had mostly terrible experiences trying to run music apps on android, despite having a decent and recent enough android...
It's using winlator:
https://github.com/brunodev85/winlator
I Just extracted the windows zip in downloads ( it's drive d when you run winlator) and install from there like a normal windows program.
The main downside is that his apps are tiny even on my laptop screen, they are practically useless on the phone... But maybe with some faffing around with resolution in winlator it can get a bit bigger.
I'm going to experiment a bit this weekend to see what I can get running... There are some reasonably cheap (compared to iPads) android tablets made for gaming out that might run a lot more. Otherwise I suppose I could get a cheap surface off vinted.
Thnx, sounds frustrating haha, I'm not sure I could handle the faff, good to know it's an option tho, definitely an interesting dev
It's by no means a replacement for iOS, but it's interesting yea, especially for curios and oddments for making noises.
My project for this weekend is to buy and start figuring out endogen on my laptop. Do you know it? It's verrry interesting.
I don't know this. My laptop broke a few years ago and I decided not to bother replacing it. As in now 'nomadic' I have even less reason to buy more stuff, so I think I'll remain (lap)top less for the foreseeable, sadly!
Maybe it'll run on android! (imagine that ui on a phone)
I was hoping that you will check out Envion instead
I think it’s the early version before Endogen but pure data and also iOS

Way to complicate for me but I wold love a sevenape track
.
hahaha I'll do my best!!
I'm taking a look at Envion now, haven't managed to get sound out yet. Looks cool tho 🤣
Constant 'read failed' messages after trying to load audio. I'm using some audio from the repository folder itself, no clue why not working
Edit: got sound finally lol, user friendly this is not. There are some instructions for iPad in the folder, tho, worth a look
Interesting. I had an Android phone last year for 3-4 months before I switched back to iPhone. It was fun to use that for a while, mostly drawing on it with the S-Pen. However, music is my passion, and when I rediscovered Auxy Studio via my Mini 7, I switched back to iPhone. 😂
