The World Cup and Trump’s VISA Restrictions
I’m expecting the rest of the world to boycott the upcoming US run World Cup in protect of DHS/ICE treatment of anyone that could potentially be a non-US Citizen… a visitor from Ireland (as I recall) spent 3 weeks in detention while visiting with a valid VISA so the ICE quotas are creating incentives to grab any body that has poor documentation.
The word from this innocent visitor is these detention centers are hell holes. Something Americans would flag at the State Department if a US citizen requested a Visa to travel to that country.

Money never sleeps. But I too thought the cup in the US was not good when you are in the middle of a migration crisis but money doesn’t care.
People are idiots, they'll still visit the US for the World Cup.
I’m expecting poor crowds - especially in the early rounds, 48 teams over 3 countries?? Even in the later rounds it’s ALL so very very expensive. I bet they’ll be giving tickets away to school kids and locals to try to fill up the stadiums. I know die hard Scotland fans who travel the world to watch Scotland play - but they ain’t going to this one, no Sireee. Even the manager has been asking fans not to get into debt to go.
