Standalone recording async sampler

What is the easiest way to record the output from a standalone app?

I have a few userpresets in Async sampler.
But I can’t record it as an auv3 inside a daw because it then has not those user presets.

So I want to record the user presets from the standalone async sampler.

The only way you can record the output of a standalone app that doesn't have Inter-App Audio support is to use an audio interface with a loop back circuit. Or do a screen recording and then separate out the audio, which you can do in a number of ways (Apple Shortcuts app, Koala, ...).

Is there really no way in Async Sampler to export presets and import them into the plugin?

Think I remember btw that someone said you can also record audio using that app wavebox? Without need for screen recording.

Huh. Something about that rings a bell. I can't fathom how they'd do that.

@Gavinski - It appears to be a streamlined use of screen recording and separating the audio straight from in the app.

  • Thanks i’ll try that.

  • Tried it
    Works great
    Very simple
    Thanks!
