Vibe Looper is a versatile audio looper built for live performance and creative production. Record a loop, then play it like an instrument — tap positions on the waveform to retrigger, stutter, and reshape your sound in real time.
MULTITOUCH SEQUENCING
Tap anywhere on the waveform to build rhythmic sequences on the fly. Touch the upper region to double the retrigger rate. Use the XY pad to control direction and quantization simultaneously. Shape each retrigger with a graphical attack-hold-release envelope for gating and stutter effects. Use the Hold button to keep the sequence playing when touches are released.
RECORD, LAYER, PERFORM

AUTO-RECORD

INTELLIGENT TEMPO SYNC
Set Auto-Record to Detect mode and Vibe Looper automatically detects the loop's tempo and sets the clock tempo to match (either the internal tempo in standalone or the host/DAW tempo using Ableton Link). Vibe Looper tempo optionally follows host tempo — no glitches, no drift. Configure sync quantization independently for every operation: record, play, overdub, stop, speed changes, and reverse.
MIDI CONTROL
MIDI notes are mapped to waveform positions for sequencing. Use mod wheel for rate control. Use sustain pedal or HOLD button to hold MIDI sequenced positions.
BUILT-IN METRONOME & CLOCK
Standalone mode includes a full metronome with 20+ sounds, tap tempo, configurable time signatures, and MIDI clock output for syncing external hardware with adjustable latency compensation.

I don’t know how it all works - but I would think you would probably be more profitable selling tons at £9.99 as opposed to much fewer at £29.99? The old pocket money/coffee purchase for fun vs serious considered investment scenario. Especially these days with the economy becoming unstable.
It's even $49 (for desktop I assume at vibelooper.com) I wrote in a review that he should move the comma one step to 2,99 and I would think about it. Seem solid but nothing new.
In europe (germany) its 34,99€ which is around 40$… same price as loopy pro…. 😷🙈

I mean, if it brought something new to the table, that we can’t already do with Loopy Pro, Drambo, and ummm Koala?
From the description, this sounds more in line with Samplr or LP4’s Alchemy Sampler.
So maybe this is a viable option for those who want the AUv3 experience but don’t use LP4?
…plus I’ve occasionally read comments over the past year here echoing the sentiment that devs don’t make use of the touch interface anymore…devs should be charging more for their work. I thought this app would have gotten more attention.
It's definitely a nice enough app (edit: actually, after playing with it again, it's better than nice enough, it's actually really very cool), but 30 bucks is just not a very realistic price for this, that's all.
Edit: Even an incredibly slick effect app with the most gorgeous UI known to man by a beloved and established dev has a hard time selling for 30 bucks on this platform, that's just the reality of the situation, I think. And understandably enough, I reckon...

I’ve been having a lot of fun playing with the free version….. I’m very interested to know what extra are you getting for the £29.99 upgrade?? What features will the purchase unlock? I’m imagining it will have to be something special to add that extra value on to it…. but what could it be?

If you have Loopy Pro, which is the same price but has a shitload more features, this plugin seems redundant, no?
It has more direct interactivity with the loop, making it more of an instrument without having to set up a lot of indirect widgets to control loop playback mangling.

Ah right - thanks. What you see is what you get. In that case it does seem comparatively a bit overpriced. I can’t help but think of MolliLooper as a cheaper alternative.
I do like Mollilooper, but Vibe Looper is definitely a big step up, for me anyway, I terms of fun and functionality. It's just a fact that they won't shift many units at this price, is all... At$5 or $10 a pop, they'd sell tons.
I know that’s the thing, I mentioned that above as well - they would sell shedloads at that sort of price but very few at the 30. I wonder if they are reading the forum?
I dunno but I did contact the dev myself suggesting that the current pricing would never fly
