Sugar Bytes Turnado hi res interface update.
Turnado has been given a much needed hi resolution UI update today.
I’m finding that the interface zoom function no longer works after updating though? Reported to Sugar Bytes.

I think they are one of the developers that put things right relatively quickly.
I do love sugar bytes, but a few times now when they did an update on ios I have found there to be a price. In egoist when files app support was introduced it also came with the limitation of only being able to have 128 files to choose from in the user folder. Don't think that has ever been amended. Also Aparillo and Factory both had updates that permanently broke the sound of certain patches I was using in projects, changing them way too much.
Initial response from them says it’s deliberate as it’s no longer needed. They seem open to hearing why it is still needed and seeing screenshot examples though.
I’ve replied and made the case but if others agree, more feedback sent to them can only help.
I’ve got the pre update version and it doesn’t seem to zoom in. Can’t say I’ve really thought about it. What do you use the zoom for - is it on the edit page or where would you usually be zooming into?
Double tap in any empty area of the interface to zoom - should work if you’ve not updated.
Yes, I used it mostly on the effect’s edit page where things are small and the text is low contrast.
There use case - for me - is when you want to edit effect parameters in Turnado but still want access to aspects of the host’s UI (transport controls/piano roll/automation editor/mixer etc.) at the same time. If you have to full screen Turnado for it to be visually usable then you are obscuring most if not all of the host’s UI and have to constantly jump between the two.
This one all of a sudden wanted money and restore purchase didn't work so I thought I press buy as that always end up with: "you already own this app bla bla" BUT it didn't, instead it took my money, and it was no small amount either - wtf!
Edit: I see that version 1.8.2 are supposed to fix payment issues, obviously not! 🤬
That sucks. Lucky that you can get a no questions asked refund, as you're in the EU and have the option of 'Right of Withdrawal'.
I recently got a legit refund request refused on my main AppStore account, the Chinese one. It's very annoying when this happens, really makes you hate Apple lol.

The update fixed the purchase request for me. Are you sure you have the latest update? Maybe try a restart as well?

One thing to note is that IAPs are considered as “consumables”, as in they are intended for something that you can’t roll-back, so for apps that are free and have an IAP to unlock capabilities you may have a hard time getting them to refund.
I hope that at least in this case - double purchase due to a bug - they would do the right thing, but the right of withdrawal is usually not immediately applicable in these cases, even though I firmly believe it should.
This update worked for me - the auv3 just launched - no restore required.

No dice here with Logic or Cubasis and while it asks/tells you to buy/restore when you hit that button nothing happens....opens fine in standalone of course.....will reboot, but suspect One More Update might be needed
Did you buy it before they added the IAP Mr G?

Edit: Updating today to v1.8.3 fix it for me.
