Anyone tried or know of it?

Its quite known when released.
The noise supression ( for mics ) is good enough. If you dont own brushfi.
The main use is the loopback module ( which I thought I may use just recently )
A spare ipad that can just get messy with samplescapes. Id rather use Drambo but an app is IAA. So using module I can route to Drambo samplers from Aum.
If you use Logic. You can route aum IAA.
Same as sigma I use loopback quite frequently. Very useful to send audio basically anywhere you want, so when I want DJay Pro's audio to be an input in Loopy Pro, it gets used as the main output effect in Djay, the equivalent loopback return is added as if it were an instrument in loopy. Because not everything is IAA and it is deprecated so less and less things will be, these kinds of virtual streams are highly useful, I'm hopeful Ableton's new LinkAudio will see widespread adoption and I won't need this in future, but in the meantime I'm so very very grateful to @RyoutaKira. Without this utility my whole life would be an order of magnitude less rich!

If I understand you guys correctly, Loopback makes it possible to use IAA apps like Lumbeat drummers with hosts like Drambo that aren’t compatible with IAA?
Not exactly. It allows sending between AUV3 hosts that lack IAA. So Drambo or Logic or GarageBand or Loopy Pro can send/receive audio from other hosts. Lumbeat apps aren’t hosts so they can’t can’t use these plugins
Ahhhh gotcha, Thanks for clarifying! 🤙
Thanks all!
I used this to run MPE from Sand Sequencer over to GrooveRider 2. Can’t remember why I needed to do that though 🤔
Would love to see your setup between djay pro and loopy (or another host) and how you use it @Fantastic
Do you apply wicked Transit 2 FX on your transition? or is it for recording mixes?
If anyone is interested in how the KQ Voice Plugins can be used to send data between apps, here’s a video that I did a while back showing how to use it with GarageBand and AUM. It’s a very unique and interesting app.
I would not choose Transit for performing, BA themselves have said exactly as much, a bit shockingly its not designed for performing, which seems so counterintuitive to what it should be actually great for, but no, don't even bother with Transit if the goal is performing. See past threads around here abut that. (EDIT: specifically Tristan's answer stated that a future version of Transit may have a "live" mode – thus, I'm not being over the top to point out it is not as of now designed to work for live purposes, and would need to be reworked in future to become performance-appropriate),
for me anyway, but, I keep Turnado in the template because it IS really well designed for this type of stuff, lightweight, massively configurable etc.
(Edit: https://forum.loopypro.com/discussion/66412/baby-audio-transit-2/p8 , as @Tentype helpfully diagnosed).
Turnado and Effectrix are probably worth playing with for that, and I will give FAC bandit 2 a go tomorrow as it has the DJ style isolation of the bands which should be fun, but I don't really love super gratuitous riser style transitions, I find that all a bit annoying, to me its more to put the playlists in to a remixable situation, where you can then hybrid live-produce with whatever new instrumentation and reharmonization via the live stem balancing of Djay and the software instruments in LP. As far as effects,. more inclined to chain together custom things, rather than use a Transit or Turnado syle multi-fx, Volcano as the filter, R-2 and Timeless reverb and delay and whatever else as required, and granular madness with Silo, LP widgets for controlling how much of which. The multi-fx like Turnado and Transit always seems like a good idea to save all that customizing and then never is
(EDIT: sorry didn't intend to hijack the thread, just answering the question,,, back to the topic:)
Thanks for the detailed @Fantastic ! I’ll read that thread.
I made an AppRaven tag a while ago and tagged a few apps when I was researching this functionality. KQ Voice indeed seems to be the only app available for low-level/low-latency loopback streaming, though I haven’t bought it because I already own VisualSwift (now defunct), which doesn’t properly convert 48k<->41k (not sure if KQ Voice does). SonoBus is ok for free but seems to be high-level and uses compression and afaik can’t complete a loopback circuit without a connection to a router.
