midi mapping THU in AUM? why not?
i’m trying to map a midi foot pedal to THU that is sitting in an effects a lot in AUM.
I can see midi coming into AUM. i route it to Thu app. but it’s almost as if AUM doesn’t see it.
anyone else having this issue?

In aum in the midi matrix did you connect the midi control input to the pedal?
Are you sending the MIDI to the THU MIDI input, so you can configure it directly in the THU MIDI settings? Or are you sending the MIDI to AUM's MIDI Control input, so you can configure it using the AUv3 parameters of THU?
TH-U's parameters are not exposed but internal so you have to set them in app, just like in the stand alone. As far as I understand it anyway.
You're right, this is very difficult. I was able to send CC2 and control the SDriveOne power, the default for CC2. But I was unable to edit any of the default CCs, or add a new control. Learn did not work, and eventually stopped being offered. The is with MIDI routed directly to TH-U and AUM selected as the MIDI Device, as shown. This is on iPad Air 6 2024 M2 11", iPadOS 26.4, AUM 1.4.7.
Edit: I also changed the MIDI channel from the default (0) to ALL.
