Issue With Bleass Megalit Wavetable at 100% Position?

In Bleass Megalit, I've noticed that quite a lot of the factory wavetables exhibit an abrupt shift on the right side of the waveform upon reaching the 99-100% position.

I’ve used only the “LoFi Sin” as example in this video, but the same behavior exists for around a quarter of the wavetables.

Additionally, I tried using an imported wavetable from Echo Sound Works entitled “ESW Basics - Sine to Saw”, and found that the same behavior persists in Megalit but not in Drambo’s wavetable oscillator.

Anyone know what might be the reasons behind this and if it’s intentional?

  • Hi. I know that the original PPG wavetables always end with triangle, square, sawtooth. Is this possibly what you're seeing in Megalit?

I’ve sent a support ticket to Bleass about this, so while I wait for their response, does anyone else here have both Bleass Megalit and at least one other wavetable synth? Just wanted to see if you’re getting the same results that I am.

I’ve attached here a selection of wavetables (from Echo Sound Works) that all exhibit the same issue for me. When I scan through them in Megalit, I hear a slight but sudden change in harmonics (usually kinda buzzy) as the wavetable position goes from 99% to 100%. This does not occur when I scan through the wavetables in Synthmaster 1 or Drambo.

Admittedly, this isn’t a big issue since I can just keep the wavetable position at 99% or below in Megalit for problematic wavetables such as these, but I can’t help but be curious as to the possible explanation for what I’m hearing. Thanks.
