The Linge (De Linge)

A slender river that becomes vast by staying small.

It meanders through the Dutch fruit lands, where the air hums and tastes of honey, apples, pears, and blossoms.
Slowly it carries the sweetness of its world behind it, drifting toward the distant sea.

And I, with my music, follow the same winding path — moving gently, curving through light and dark, becoming myself by never rushing again.

    That is a nice relaxing piece of music to listen to on a beautiful sunny day like today, listening to the running water and occasional bird songs makes you feel like you are actually there where it is happening. I like the combination of flute/slide guitar, you remind me of a band called Jade Warrior. Is that a real slide guitar you are playing? I made one years ago but only ever used it once, they are such lovely sounding instruments as you have just demonstrated. Thank you for putting this lovely instrumental track up for us to listen to.

    Hi @Frenq, do you have a link for ’la meuse’?
    I liked the other instruments like piano and harp but both the flute and slide guitar are both special instruments.

    Thanks for the link, this reminds me of a Pink Floyd track called ‘A Pillow of Winds’ from the album Meddle, that slide guitar sounds so smooth and calming, the violin towards the end was a surprise.
    Another nice relaxing piece 👍
