I'm not all that familiar with either of their brands of products as I don't own much they put out, but it should definitely be interesting to watch this play out. Wonder if/how much any NI stuff ends up in MPC products.
Not good. MPC and Maschine under one umbrella. Maschine won't last.
Its not really so much about the Maschine hardware as it is about the incredible NI software and sample libraries. They've already ported over many of their sample libraries to MPC format. Integrating their softsynths will be interesting/intriguing.
I cast my desktop in amber, haven't updated NI stuff in ages. The Maschine 3 software was crashy dogshit and support was no help. I went back to 2 and all is well. Won't be giving NI another dime, but at the same time I have sooooo much stuff to explore there is no need to. As long as I don't have to do a fresh install of my desktop anytime soon I should be OK. See yah in many many years (I hope) Native Access.
I reckon it is only a matter of time before InMusic unleashes iMaschineMPC
Finally!
I’m curious to see if this acquisition will have any hardware influence.
Probably means Maschine will be killed off…
