Violin 2 Flute - NO MIDI PLEASE
Hi,
Any thoughts on plugins to turn a violin into a flute?
I have, and have spent hours "trying" MIDI Guitar 3 to no avail. The tracking is so bad, and mostly because it's not designed for a violin.
I have tried a Ringotron.
Any other plugin ideas???

Not iOS but https://sites.research.google/tonetransfer is meant to be able to do that.
I wonder if you've given MIDI Guitar 3 the best chance to work. You might try a Gate, followed by a lowpass or bandpass filter, to preprocess the violin input. You could use BYOD, or any of the iOS modular systems. The goal would be to get the input down to the fundamental frequency only.
