EDIT: After brief review, only 28MB in the update? Only claimed fix is something to do with missing ringtones? Probably a waste of time for anyone not going crazy about their "missing ring tones."

  • No,it's"some bugfixes" AND a fix for the ringtone stuff.

  • No problems here.

  • Seems to be a lot faster opening programs etc. not tried it in great depth yet but so far much quicker.
Still never fixed the annoying safari bug that wasn't there in ios 7. Which is when you press the address bar to open up another site/folder, when you click a folder it miniaturises itself in the middle of the screen and doesn't stay to the left like 7 or when you open the address bar from a blank newly opened window. Damn annoying glitch in the matrix that is!

  • I hear you @PsYAuM. Seems like the Safari bugs would be front and center for the dev team there. I'm pretty sure most everyone here would agree that Safari is by far and away the most used app on the iPad. And these bugs aren't hard to find or anything. They're quite obvious. Ok, getting off my soap box now. Oh wait, and what's up with third party keyboards? How does that integration still suck so bad? Ok, stopping now...

  • If THIS are your main concerns, well then iOS 8 is really nice, isn't it? ;)
I even didn't noticed the"bug"above cause i never use safari this way.In fact, since Air 2 withiOS8 safari runs great for me.It's fast,it never crashes (no"low memory"shit anymore)and it doesn't load the every tab again after switching back and forth.I know,it's mostly the more Ram responsible but i can say i'm quite happy with safari as it is now...

  • My little time with it this morning yielded a stabler Safari.

  • These are my main complaints that are outside of my music making. I have plenty of complaints on the music side of things too. And I actually do like iOS 8. It just seems to be way buggier than any previous iOS version. I'd guess that's a byproduct of adding in a bajillion new features, but still... Apple has definitely tainted their "it just works" tag line, in my humble opinion.

  • Another safari bug still present. Ipad side Google search. Press one letter of your search and the keyboard disappears. How very considerate! :p
    ps
these bugs are iPad Air 1 don't know if same applies with other versions

I totally agree, that's the reason why i ask before if the update breaks more stuff than fixing it ;-)

@PsYAuM: i don't have this bug or maybe i misundestand what you mean...
