Ableton session view one shot style
Hi, on ableton once I press a clip (not in the same row) that clips starts playing (I can decide on quantization) all other clips that are not in the same row stop playing. How can I achieve such a thing? I've managed to do it in a row where I can group 2 or more one shots and use 'mutually exclusive option' however I only have one clip/one shot per row.
As for DJing in ableton you can assign tracks to A/B and cross fade in between it. is there such a thing in loopy pro?
many thanks trying to get my head around it, such a fun software

Anyone?
I don't know if you can set this up with groups or follow actions in loopy, but have you thought about using something in loopy, that is already setup like session view? I guess LK or Drambo would work.
If you have single clips you want to be mutually exclusive, put them all in a group and make it a one at a time group. Or use the solo clip action.
Setting up groups as mutually exclusive will do what you want for multi-clip groups or using the solo clip action. Solo clip stops all other clips then plays the targeted clip or clips. No follow actions needed.
